Great Masters of Ukiyoe, Calendar for 1912, large 18mo (7 3/8 x 4 3/4 in - 18.7 x 12.2 cm), medium size for a Hasegawa book, calendar published in a book form, plain paper, 5 folded pages, 10 pages total including covers. The monthly calendars appear two per page and the artist's works appear on the calendar page or on the facing page. Internally, there are a total of 13 Ukiyoe school woodblocks by 9 artists reproduced in miniature . The artists represented in the woodblock reproductions are:

  • January & February - Moronobu (1630-1696) (2 pages, 1 image)
  • March & April - Sharaku (about 1790) and Kiyonaga ((1750-1810) Eishi (about 1790) (2 pages, 4 images)
  • May, June, July & August - Utamaro (1752-1804) & Hokusai (1760-1849) 2 pages, 4 images)
  • September, October, November & December - Hiroshige (1796-1853), Toyokuni II(1786-1864) & Kuniyoshi (1797-1801) (2 pages, 4 images)

This book does not carry the T. Hasegawa imprint in English as did a very similar calendar for 1911 (here).
