The book is composed of four sections. These are:

Part I. Kyoto, General Information (pages 1-11)
Part II. Kyoto, Noted Places and Temples of Kyoto and Vicinity (pages 12-31)
Part III. Industries of Kyoto (Textile, Dyeing, Embroideries, Cords, Knitting and Lace Works, Keramics, Lacquer Wares, Fans, Toys, Miscellaneous Products & Horticulture (pages 32-54)
Part IV. List of Exhibitors to the Japan-British Exhibition, 1910 (pages 1-14) and credit page (page 15)

The printer, Yamada Naosaburo (Teramachi-Nijo, Kyoto), is listed as one of the exhibitors and the works are desribed as "Books, albums of wood cuts from paintings and desgins of Japanese artists." Yamada Naosaburo was the founder of famous woodblock print publisher Unsodo in Kyoto. That firm is sometimes refered to as Yamada Unsodo.

While the title page does not list and author, a credit page thanks Mr. J. Harada, Prof. of Nagoya High Technical School and Mr. F.A. Lombard, Prof. of Doshisha College for "..valuable assistance rendered in the preparation of the proceeding (sic) pages."
