Two different image types can be distinguished by minor differences.

 

Type I

Smoother ground in foreground.
White spot around left foot of man in center foreground.
Lady to the right in background casts no shadow.

Type Ia. As I - except lady casts a shadow.

Type II

Type II
Rougher ground in the foreground.
No white spot around left foot of man in center foreground.
Lady to the right in background casts a shadow.
Small rock in foreground right in front of large rock by the two men.
