If you have been considering a Ryukyu Islands collection, this page is for you. I have grouped together various units of Ryukyu Island material. You can put these units together in blocks to form an instant collection. This will save you time and money. The material is already priced at a very competitive level but in addition to these low prices, extra value incentives / discounts are offered. Check the incentives / discounts that you will get when you combine these units. All units are unmounted. All stamps are centered F-VF or better except where the picture shows otherwise. Hinging is noted in the descriptions. Most units are Mint, Never Hinged.

Definitive, Commemorative and Special Delivery sets (B-yen period and better $ period), Mint, Never Hinged. Includes: 1-7, 1a-6a, 8-13, 14, 15, 16, 16a, 16b, 18, 19-26, 27-8, 29, 30, 31-3, 34, 35, 36-8, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43, 44-53, 51a-2a, 54, 58-62, 65-8, 76-80, 81-7(8), 195a-199a and E1. All stamps are F-VF, mint, never hinged. Missing only 7a and 17 for the B Yen period from 1948-9 through June of 1956. This combined with the air mail stamps represents the heart of a Ryukyu Islands collection. Total 2002 Scott value is $793.00. |

These stamps are already priced at 1/2 of catalogue value so this is a $50.00 catalogue value. In addition, these are the less expensive sets that you will need to complete your collection.

1. Place your Preliminary Order for Confirmation. These units are one of a kind and, as all material is, subject to prior sale. Email your order and I will confirm availability. Once I confirm availability, we have a meeting of the minds and the discount will then be applied. I make every effort to keep this page current but there are no guarantees that the material will be in stock. That's why you need to confirm availability.
2. Discount / Incentives and Layaway Plans. Normally I do not apply discounts to layaway purchases. However, with the units on this page only, I will apply the stated discount / incentive to material purchased on a layaway plan that we establish.
